DESIGNS FOR FLAPJACK
FLAPJACK is a mobile game for flipping the classic breakfast item. Deceptively simple, it only has two maneuvers, tapping and rotating the device. Players tap the skillet to keep the flapjack in the air, all over the simple UI. Rotate the device to gain even more points as the flapjack does backflips. As players hone their flapjack-flipping skills, the number to flip increases. Find the prototype to this addictive app where users flip flapjacks to sound effects that will leave you craving a stack of your own here! The major competitor of FLAPJACK is Pancake-The Game. Pancake-The Game incorporates a similar basic UI and a tapping function. However, the game is repetitive, only allowing users to bounce the pancake on the griddle. The prospective players of FLAPJACK are commuters, shoppers waiting in line, and just plain, old people who occasionally crave pancakes. Marketing for FLAPJACK would most likely consist of building a community on social media of people who LOVE flapjacks/pancakes. Then, the finished product would be introduced to these people.
