Raneem El Torky is a rising senior at Princeton University and is pursing the Environmental track in the Civil and Environmental Engineering department. She is also planning to receive a certificate in Environmental Studies and has strong foundation in engineering, business, innovation, and leadership. She is from Egypt and moved to the United States when she was 14 to attend boarding school in Massachusetts, at Milton Academy. Outside of Academia, she is on the varsity squash team and is a great leader to all her teammates as she was named the captain of the women's squash team at Princeton. She was also named the Ivy League Rookie of the year (6th woman in Princeton’s history to receive this award) and was 2x All-Ivy League Player of the year. She is also the Vice President of University Cottage Club where she works with the president to ensure that the use of the club conforms to club rules and other club guidelines. Additionally she is on the Student Athlete Service Committee where she helps to organize weekly service opportunities for student-athletes.
