Karim is a rising senior at Princeton University, majoring in computer science on the engineering track with a minor in statistics and machine learning. Hailing from Cairo, Egypt, Karim has demonstrated a keen interest in computer science and squash since an early age. He is an accomplished squash player and currently competes on Princeton's varsity squash team, having won two All American titles as the team's #1 and #2 player. Karim's athletic achievements also include winning the Molloy Cup title and being named a first team All Ivy player.
In addition to his athletic pursuits, Karim is passionate about academia and has presented his research paper, "Genius as a Power Tool," at the Mary W. George conference. He has also interned at the Youth Leaders Foundation (YLF), where he worked with underprivileged women in TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) schools from all over Egypt to support their tech startups. Through this work, Karim actively contributed to empowering women in the field of technology in Egypt. Karim's commitment to empowering others extends beyond his internship. He has also taken on the role of coaching squash players, providing guidance and support to help them in their athletic journey. With his expertise and dedication, Karim strives to make a positive impact on the lives of aspiring students and athletes. |
