During my time with Each One Teach One, the highest point of both learning and creating would be when I was a participant in a handful of open source projects. To name one, working on Sugarlabs's Music Blocks project has been an enlightening experience on how collaboration between programmers occurs when working on such a large scale project. This pushed me out of my usually programming experience, where I am usually working on solo project and have figure out how to solve problems myself, and taught me how to participate in a team of coders to solve a problem. I hope to continue growing from these experiences and learn more about what is it like to create software in a professional environment. As I move back to the regular world, I hope to use what I've learned about working on a programming team when I move on to work in a professional environment.
